What are waiting periods and how do they affect me?
Waiting periods are the time between your enrolment and when you can use certain services, such as some surgeries or childbirth. With the Mi Sanitas app you get video consultations with GPs and specialists, emergency video consultations, a symptom checker, digital physio, psychological support and health programmes. You can sort out many queries from home, at any time, without travelling.
Am I covered if I travel abroad?
Yes. Sanitas health insurance includes emergency care abroad for stays of up to 90 days, plus an international medical second opinion to confirm diagnoses and treatments with leading specialists.
Can I include my family in the same policy?
Yes, you can add your spouse or partner and children to the same policy. Tell us how many people you want to insure and we'll include them in the quote; some family options offer benefits based on the number of insured people.
