Remove waiting periods now

Is this insurance valid for my residence visa in Spain?
Yes. Sanitas Residents in its version with no waiting periods meets all the requirements of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Spanish consulates for the Non-Lucrative Visa (NLV), the Digital Nomad Visa, the Golden Visa and family reunification. You receive your official certificate instantly.
Can I sign up before moving to Spain?
Yes, you can sign up up to 6 months in advance. That way you'll have your certificate ready for your consulate appointment. We agree the cover start date with you so it matches your arrival.
Are there doctors who speak my language?
Of course. The Mi Sanitas app is available in several languages and includes a filter to find doctors who speak your language. More than 3,100 specialists are available by video consultation.
Is there an age limit?
You can sign up between the ages of 0 and 75. There is no maximum age to keep the policy: once you're in, you're covered for life. Children under 2 must be on a policy with another insured adult.
What if I need to travel abroad?
You are covered for medical emergencies abroad on trips of up to 90 days. In the worst case, international repatriation is included, with full transport cover for you and a companion.
Do I need to be in Spain to sign up?
No. You can sign up from your country with your passport. We only need a Spanish postcode where you are going to live. Your certificate arrives in digital format, ready to attach to your visa application.
